Job Description

Join us as the Campus President, where you will steer the San Antonio, TX, campus to new heights, foster a vibrant campus culture, and drive academic and operational success. As the chief administrator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our campus, embodying the spirit of Chamberlain Care while delivering strategic leadership and inspiring growth.

Key Responsibilities

Empower and Inspire Talent: Lead the charge in building a dynamic team by hiring, developing, and motivating top talent. Ensure every team member has the tools and support they need to excel, while nurturing a thriving and engaged workforce.

Strategic Leadership: Set the vision and guide the campus towards ambitious growth targets. Oversee all operational aspects, ensuring that the campus operates efficiently and effectively while supporting a strong organizational structure.

Student-Centric Approach: Champion an exceptional educational experience by ensuring high-quality faculty, robust programs, and outstanding service. Focus on achieving excellent student outcomes, fostering inclusion, and maintaining high satisfaction levels.

Financial Stewardship: Partner with finance teams at all levels to manage the campus P&L, ensuring we meet or exceed budgeted revenue and operating income. Keep a vigilant eye on financial health, proactively addressing any issues and controlling expenses.

Drive Growth and Innovation: Participate in strategic planning to align campus goals with local needs. Use market research to shape campus strategies and drive initiatives that promote growth and sustainability.

Optimize Student Experience: Oversee the entire student life cycle, from attracting new students to enhancing retention and graduation rates. Implement strategies to ensure high enrollment and success rates, and continuously improve student engagement.

Champion Change: Lead the campus through change with enthusiasm, uniting faculty and staff around common goals. Be a visible presence, staying attuned to campus dynamics and identifying areas for improvement.

Forge External Connections: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders, including community leaders, accreditation bodies, and legislators. Represent the campus on advisory boards and engage with local charities.

Ensure Compliance: Stay ahead of regulatory and accreditation requirements, fostering a culture of compliance. Oversee internal audits and ensure all campus activities meet the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.

Maintain Excellence: Develop and uphold campus standards and policies, driving academic and operational effectiveness. Ensure alignment with institutional policies and promote continuous improvement.

Collaborate Nationally: Work closely with national directors to implement national policies and foster collaboration with other campuses. Share best practices and leverage synergies to enhance campus performance.

Create a Safe Environment: Ensure the safety and functionality of the campus environment, meeting the needs of staff, students, and visitors. Partner with other leaders to address equipment and facility requirements.

Cultivate Campus Culture: Embody and promote a student-centric culture rooted in the TEACH values and Chamberlain Care. Lead by example, reflecting optimism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in nursing, education, or business from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state licensure privilege to practice nursing in the Commonwealth/State.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Education and experience must meet state regulations. Compliance with rules and regulations of state authorization agencies, including higher education and licensing boards in multiple states.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated and sustained leadership with operational and budget responsibility.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in relevant roles.
  • Passion for education.
  • Availability for after-hours responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with working in a matrixed environment.
  • Breadth of high-level knowledge in functional areas such as Admissions, Academics, Career Services, Finance, Financial Aid, and Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced Degree, PhD in a relevant field.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in nursing practice as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years as a faculty member in a professional nursing education program or in higher education administration.
  • Experience in educational administration.
  • Experience managing a P&L (Profit and Loss statement).
  • Experience overseeing multiple functions.
  • Background in proprietary education, consulting, or healthcare.
  • Experience working with community leaders and politicians.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,253.99 and $175,761.85. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
