Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer plays a critical role in driving Adtalem’s talent strategy by proactively finding, engaging, and attracting top talent. This individual is responsible for building sustainable pipelines of high-quality candidates for both hard-to-fill and high-volume roles. By developing and executing forward-thinking sourcing strategies, the consultant ensures a continuous flow of talent to meet evolving business needs, accelerate hiring timelines, and enhance candidate quality.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to anticipate talent needs and develop sourcing strategies that identify, engage, and attract high-potential candidates across key functions and roles
Design and implement scalable, data-driven approaches to talent sourcing that emphasize proactive pipelining and relationship-building
Apply advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., ATS mining, Boolean searches, SEO, social recruiting, talent communities) to discover and engage both active and passive candidates
Build, maintain, and nurture robust pipelines of qualified candidates aligned to current and future hiring needs, ensuring hiring teams are never starting from scratch
Screen, assess, and present highly qualified candidates to the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring alignment with both job requirements and organizational culture
Monitor and manage candidate pipelines to ensure they are adequately stocked and ready to meet hiring demands
Foster ongoing relationships with passive candidates, positioning Adtalem as an employer of choice and maintaining a "warm bench" for future roles
Act as a sourcing subject matter expert by educating and upskilling Talent Acquisition partners on innovative sourcing methods and best practices
Provide potential candidates with insight into company culture, benefits, and employee value proposition to increase engagement and conversion
Stay informed on sourcing trends, talent market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field required
Minimum 5 years of experience in recruiting/sourcing required
Proven success in building and maintaining candidate pipelines for both niche and high-volume roles
Deep expertise in modern sourcing tools and strategies, including ATS/CRM systems, internet research, social media recruiting, and passive candidate outreach
Demonstrated ability to influence and attract top talent through compelling messaging and relationship-building
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility over the phone and via digital platforms
Knowledge of trends in talent acquisition and the broader talent marketplace and experiencing using talent intelligence software
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53520.9 and $93918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
