Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance


We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to lead organic growth initiatives and improve online visibility. In this role, you'll work closely with an external SEO agency and internal teams to enhance the digital presence of our partnered university. This position requires a proactive, data-driven strategist who can effectively manage multiple projects and communicate SEO insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with our external SEO agency, ensuring high-quality SEO initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Oversee agency deliverables, providing feedback to refine SEO performance and outcomes.

• Partner with the agency to create and implement keyword strategies that enhance content relevance and visibility.

• Lead keyword research to identify content opportunities, collaborating with content creators to integrate SEO insights.

• Guide content strategy by targeting high-impact keywords to drive engagement and organic visibility.

• Align content efforts with business goals and audience needs for maximum impact.

• Oversee the university blog’s content calendar to ensure consistent, SEO-optimized content.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing required
  • 4+ years of SEO experience, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO required
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, BrightEdge, SEMrush, MOZ).
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for digital marketing and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.


Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53520.9 and $96736.53. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
