We operate on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week (Monday–Thursday). This approach enhances creativity, innovation, communication, and relationship-building, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
The Senior Analyst- Marketing Data & Systems role delivers strategic marketing insights through data analysis, reporting, and audience segmentation. It supports Chamberlain University retention marketing by transforming complex data into actionable intelligence that informs decision-making and enhances campaign performance.
Key responsibilities include developing and presenting reports and dashboards, designing and executing audience segmentation strategies, and conducting A/B and multivariate testing to optimize marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will work independently to translate business needs into analytical frameworks, uncover trends, and recommend data-driven improvements that drive business results and improve engagement outcomes. This position operates with a high level of autonomy in a dynamic, integrated systems environment.
- Possesses sufficient knowledge of marketing business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design, construction, and implementation of solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement audience segmentation strategies to improve targeting and personalization across campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future marketing decisions.
- Translate business needs into analytical frameworks and data-driven insights that guide strategic marketing initiatives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing performance and student engagement through data-informed recommendations.
- Works in both team and individual contributor settings on assigned tasks including collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data insights and campaign execution
- Collect/extract data from various data sources using both native user interfaces and SQL.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data transformations, resolve data quality issues, and collaborate on system change.
- Provide data reports as well as present data and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.
- Consults independently with leadership to obtain feedback and customer input on ways to revise reporting to better serve decision-maker needs.
- Implement and support marketing solutions, platforms and services as subject matter expert.
- Document appropriate procedures, instructions, and rules to share knowledge and create standard operating procedures. Determine and track appropriate metrics to facilitate ongoing governance and continuous improvement efforts.
- • Assist with writing and presentation of surveys and reports.
- Merges data from multiple sources to create universal data sets to use in vertical level analysis, reports and dashboards.
- Performs statistical analyses on merged data sets using an array analysis tools such as R, SPSS, Pandas, or Orange.
- Develop and deliver clear, actionable marketing reports and dashboards to support retention strategies and performance tracking.
- Automate reports/dashboards to foster self-service business intelligence.
- Design, execute, and assemble data reports for ad-hoc analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, business or Master's Degree Preferred
- 7 years of experience working with relational data bases to independently develop custom data solutions, preferably in an educational setting.

- Experience with an array of technology platforms including: Google Cloud Platform, Power BI, CDP
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce) and student information systems (Banner)
- Communications/Marketing system (Eloqua & Qualtrics) and call center solutions (telephony)
- Learning Management Systems (Canvas & E-Value)
- Web-enabled survey platforms (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
- Experience with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), and other statistical packages/methodologies
- Expert knowledge of relational data base design principles with exposure to multiple SQL languages, Oracle and Snowflake preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite for productivity and automation (Excel, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, etc.) highly desired.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power-BI and Report Builder required. Additional reporting and analytic visualization packages such as Cognos and Tableau a plus.
- Ability to independently create custom computer applications and processes to meet stakeholder needs, including, but not limited to, data extraction, data aggregation from multiple data sources, and creation of user-friendly reporting platforms that meet stakeholder needs.
- Ability to work independently with large data sets to create data solutions.
- Competency in working on all phases of application programming, including development, quality checks, and implementation.
- Ability to trouble-shoot and develop solutions to technical issues involving data aggregation and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
