Opportunity at a Glance
The senior specialist, strategy & reputation management is responsible for supporting the execution and protection of the vision and strategy of Adtalem Global Education’s corporate brand identity. As we embark on an enterprise-wide growth transformation, this individual has the unique opportunity to support the refresh of our corporate brand voice and narrative through campaigns and initiatives that grow our share of voice and reputation externally while building engagement and alignment internally.
Reporting to the senior manager, strategy & reputation management, this individual will be an integral part of a team charged with thinking outside the box to bring our corporate brand narrative to life through the development of engaging and powerful activations, including content campaigns, reputation-building opportunities, conferences, storytelling and more.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of an enterprise-wide brand reputation management strategy
- Cultivate and collaborate with various teams and departments to support the creation of relevant, engaging and powerful content campaigns that elevate the brand through the company’s corporate channels and via engagement opportunities
- Develop and optimize compelling, consistent messaging that brings our narrative to life
- Collaborate on the creation of content that enables key influencers to cascade information throughout the enterprise (e.g., toolkits, message guides, etc.)
- Support identification of opportunities to elevate our brand reputation among industry leaders (e.g., conferences, awards and recognitions)
- Support the execution of the brand activation, track KPIs to report on progress and outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve our positioning and voice
- Implement new tactics to develop and strengthen brand awareness
- Assist with development and execution of communications initiatives that support Adtalem’s strategic priorities
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, journalism required or a related field required and Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate/internal communications, public relations, marketing, strategic planning, branding or related field
- Natural storyteller with excellent speaking, writing and editing skills; able to easily distill messages into believable, actionable content
- Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities and attention to detail
- Strong collaboration skills; must be able to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across the organization
- Successful track record of executing and reporting on strategic PR plans, influencer collaborations/partnerships and brand activation campaigns.
- Ability to use various tools to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns beyond the initial interaction
- Knowledge and prior experience supporting successful B2C campaigns with measurable results
- Background in corporate messaging development, reputation management and brand activations, as well as a passion for experimenting and continuously optimizing content efforts is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic and increase conversions is ideal
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61720.78 and $108334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
