Job Description

The Senior Change Manager of AI Adoption will lead change management initiatives to support the successful implementation and adoption of AI-driven solutions within business units in a hub and spoke model. This role will develop and execute change management strategies, engage key stakeholders, conduct impact assessments, design communication plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI adoption in 10x workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management, preferably in education or technology environments, with proven experience in supporting large-scale digital or AI transformation initiatives.

  • Develop and execute structured change-management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance across enterprise initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director and senior leaders to establish change program governance and monitor milestones and risks.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across business function owners to ensure alignment and advocacy for change initiatives.
  • Cultivate stakeholder relationships to facilitate the adoption of AI-enabled practices.
  • Conduct thorough readiness and alignment assessments to determine the scope, risks, and necessary interventions for successful change state transitions.
  • Develop and execute a multi-level communication strategy that effectively articulates the vision, benefits, and expectations of AI initiatives to various organizational levels and employee groups, including executives, department leads, end users, and change champions.
  • Design and deliver targeted communication plans at different stages of the change process, ultimately facilitating a smoother transition to AI-driven practice adoption.
  • Provide guidance and reinforcement to sponsors and direct managers ensuring they are equipped to effectively support and champion the change initiative among their teams.
  • Work closely with program managers, analysts, and AI SMEs to define training needs and deliver programs that build confidence and competence with AI capabilities into 10x workflows.
  • Establish KPIs and feedback mechanisms to monitor change effectiveness and end user sentiment, making adjustments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Measure progress, identify risks, and prepare mitigation strategies derisk ROI, adoption, and operational objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required and Master's Degree Preferred.
  • Eight (8) plus years Experience in change management, preferably in education or technology environments.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale digital or AI transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change and Digital Transformation concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and trends, especially in educational contexts.
  • Ability to apply change management methodologies including Prosci/ADKAR.
  • Familiar with Agile and the integration of change management best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage digital change initiatives and shape how the stakeholders at multiple levels are engaged in the change.
  • Comfort within consulting and navigating key relationships. Strong ability to exercise informal influence, inspire action from others, and practicing of the concept ‘Leading Up’.
  • Ability to put our existing templates, tools, and methods into action, while also remaining critical, prescriptive, and creative on every project.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and engaging supervisor as needed.
  • Keen attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of, and quickly resolve, complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical or IT process and business owners. Skill is translating complex and technical information into accessible language.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting AI implementation.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80,337.00 and $145,077.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
