Job Description

The Senior IT Analyst supports Adtalem's Information Technology in the monitoring, reporting, and training activities with regards to compliance in multiple IT Service Management (ITSM) process areas. In this role, he/she supports efforts for advancing the capability maturity of ITSM processes for the entire IT organization

  • Supports ITSM activities of the assigned process area(s) including documentation, facilitation, reporting, monitoring, issue identification and resolution, and communication
  • Facilitates meetings and associated tasks related to the assigned process area(s)
  • Supports IT Service Manager activities related to the tools and methodologies in support of the assigned process area
  • Supports activities of assigned area(s) to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and external regulations
  • Review and analyze monitoring reports and other related source documents for trending and reporting against associated SLA’s
  • Prepares service area relevant data for use and analysis by the IT Service Managers
  • Responsible for Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement tasks by following up with responsible area for explanations and discussions.
  • Provide support to assigned process Service Managers on ITSM related issues.
  • Leads reviews, projects and training efforts as required
  • Provide guidance to less experienced employees on ITSM matters
  • Proactively assist management in identifying areas for improvement and develop high level plan to address these areas
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology or business related field.
  • Fvie (5) plus years experience supporting ITSM practices in a large scale enterprise environment.
  • Two (2) plus years ITIL background.
  • Five (5)  plus years experience in an IT analyst or support role.
  • Strong organizational influence skills.
  • Prior project management experience is required.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate that into appropriate metrics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate issues accurately and effectively as required.
  • Ability to work well in teams and complete assignments on time.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
