Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
This position is the second level within the Advisor job family.  Under general supervision, responsible for working with future students.  Responsible for all phases of the Admissions process from marketing the program with students to qualifying them for enrollment.  Resolves most enrollment questions and problems and makes recommendations on complex issues to higher levels.

Responsibilities

  • Applies TEACH Values in the completion of all job assignments
  • Networks and develops professional relationships to generate personally-developed inquiries
  • Conducts telephone appointment setting to screen potential student applicants and sets campus interviews
  • Provides excellent customer service to students through application and enrollment process
  • Assesses future students to ensure they have the potential, traits, characteristics, qualifications and financial wherewithal to be enrolled through graduation
  • Conducts personal interviews to qualify candidates and to explain academic programs
  • Advises students in program selection, test counseling, registration, etc.
  • Provides general customer service to students from enrollment through graduation
  • Adheres to laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities as well as Adtalem Global Education Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 6 months of previous admissions experience Required
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Ability to work within a team and be a team player
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and to be a self-starter

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $21.46 and $28.18. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
