Opportunity at a Glance

The IT Process Manager  is responsible for developing, refining, training, and mentoring the Information Technology (IT) organization in its capabilities with regard to a range of initiatives to help ensure proper identification and management of technology risk.  Utilizing his/her expert process design and improvement skills coupled with knowledge of best practice techniques and methodologies, he/she partners with IT Area Managers and Process Owners to drive process improvement results throughout the organization. Responsibilities include monitoring global legal and regulatory compliance exposures, monitoring trends in technology risk and facilitating the remediation and prioritization of identified risks.   The IT Process Manager will interact with a wide range of colleagues from Senior Executives to hands-on technology and business professionals across international borders.     This position will understand technology, information and operational risks related to our internal and vendor technology solutions and bring awareness to help ensure that the appropriate controls are in place to address risks as well as to comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.  Working independently, or with a team of colleagues, the IT Process Manager, will design, recommend, plan, develop and support implementation of project-specific IT control solutions to meet tactical and strategic business and IT goals.  The IT Process Manager will provide insight to the tools and systems which support technology risk management, compliance and governance efforts across the entire IT organization.

Responsibilities

  • Executes by applying appropriate methodology and tools to manage all aspects of  assigned projects/programs throughout project/program lifecycle.
  • Ensures all project deliverables and outcomes are implemented on time, on budget, and within scope to meet the expectations of the project sponsor and  owner.
  • Employs proper management in the areas of project scope, schedule/time, finance, quality, resource, communication, risk, and procurement for successful project/program outcomes.
  • Oversee Network Operations Center process and procedures; Continuous improvement
  • Oversee Help Desk process and procedures; Continuous improvement
  • IT Ticket analysis – Trend/problem identification
  • Facilitate the development of frameworks, control matrices, recommendations, action plans and necessary documentation following an appropriate methodology approved by management and aligned with international standards (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, ISO and CMM). 
  • Develop detailed plans and programs around IT governance, risk management and compliance by delivering clear and concise presentations, written reports and recommendations on issues.
  • Manage project colleagues to prepare and implement IT compliance policies, procedures and IT control training materials to keep colleagues abreast of relevant industry, legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Perform design and process analysis for IT business processes that impact IT governance, risk management and compliance capabilities.
  • Perform follow-up reviews to assess the progress of suggested implementations while partnering with the information security team to develop strong processes, measures and metrics.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience desired.
  • 5+ years previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with internal controls, risk assessments, business processes and/or general internal IT control and operational auditing
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills and a track record for high performance and superior delivery
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture and to work effectively at both high and detailed levels
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts in the course of work as well as to produce high volumes of quality work product on concurrent projects under deadline pressures
  • Effective team player with a strong sense of loyalty, enthusiasm and ability to motivate others coupled with strong presentation, facilitation and written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical system thinker able to view problems as part of an overall complex system
  • Effective change agent with ability to establish a vision and motivate others to lead toward accomplishment of key goals
  • Results-focused with a bias toward action as well as ability to translate organizational objectives into specific, actionable tactical goals

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $59923.09 and $108334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
