Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Director of Campus Admissions is responsible for growing the enrollment of Chamberlain University's campus division. The role involves developing and managing the enrollment capabilities of all CU campuses. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the regional management team, the role will have a strong focus on developing the market, segmentation and channel strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, directs and coordination the development, direction and coordination of student enrollment activities
  • Develop new enrolment strategy together with the Chamberlain leadership team as well as the marketing and student services teams;
  • Provides the Vice President, Enrollment and senior management with accurate and timely information about admissions results on a continuing basis so as to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Develops & supports a differentiated recruitment channel strategy: Connected Campus Model
  • Define market segmentation strategy: prioritize markets and segment
  • Manage the development of national and regional marketing and enrolment plans;
  • Set regional enrollment targets for each region with university and Admin Council leadership teams;
  • Ensures that objectives, plans, budgets, policies, practices and actions are consistent with the overall for the Admissions Office
  • Participates in the development and execution of both short-term and long-term student recruitment strategy in the field to ensure the objectives are met and implements approved programs
  • Ensures quality hires and manages compensation and performance management programs to stay within salary budget
  • Carries out management responsibilities which include the following: planning, assigning and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Applies TEACH Values in the completion of all job assignments
  • Adheres to laws and regulations governing student recruitment activities as well as DeVry Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Management, Sales or Marketing Required and
  • Master's Degree MBA or other relevant Master degree Preferred
  • 7 years + years of managing multi-site EDU organization/University system. Required
  • Strong business acumen, contract negotiations and excellent team building
  • Technology proficiency, ability to train others in proper program utilization
  • Demonstrate ability and quantify success in managing corporate initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed goals and meet deadlines
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • A history of building relationships across departments
  • Past success driving change by persuasively presenting one-on-one and to large groups
  • Possess a strategic view of business and a creative mindset and approach
  • Understanding of how to implement tactical plans to execute on emerging strategies and penetrating new markets
  • Past experience having successfully established recruitment practices, selecting, training, motivating, compensating, evaluating, sizing, establishing structure and setting goals
  • Knowledge of CRM and associated technology
  • Strong collaborative approach to business and ability to work cross functionally to accomplish organizational objectives
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Review, assess and analyze results, key drivers and performance indicators regularly

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $137,846.78 and $241,870.90. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
