Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM), an Adtalem Global Education institution, prepares students to become veterinary leaders by drawing connections among animals, people and the planet, as a member of the One Health Initiative. In our U.S. locations, we operate on a hybrid work model with three in-office days and two remote days per week. Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) St. Kitts Campus, located on the beautiful twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, invites applications for the position of Exam Center Coordinator at its Examination Center. Our mission is to turn ambitious students into veterinary leaders and to use the power of education to create a collaborative network of professionals committed to improving human and animal health. The academic year is divided into three semesters, with a new class of students admitted each semester. Under the leadership of the Associate Dean of Academics, the Exam Center Coordinator will support the technology requirements of the Exam Center as they relate to exam coordination and preparation. This will be achieved through managing the ExamSoft and Examplify software, collaborating with the Information Technology department, testing, security monitoring, adherence to established Exam Center protocols, and providing troubleshooting services.

Responsibilities

  • The Exam Center Coordinator’s position has two main responsibilities and multiple ancillary responsibilities, other duties may be assigned as required:
  • 1. Assist in the coordination and execution of academic testing events.
  • Learn the examination testing processes and procedures.
  • Perform software administration per supervisor’s direction.
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with Exam Center personnel.
  • Answer questions and troubleshoot technical software concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and faculty information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with software vendors and notify them during testing of application malfunctions for immediate resolution.
  • Understand and apply project management principles.
  • 2. Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) and Academic Technology (AT) to ensure that the Exam Center hardware, software, and other equipment, including iPads, are maintained in good working order to support the examination process.
  • Notify the IT department of any suspected networking, hardware, software, or other technological event that might impede the use of the computer for examination purposes.
  • Maintain a customer-focused attitude regarding help requests. Troubleshoot student iPad issues.
  • Analyze software and other trends that may lead to more effective procedure implementation and usage.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • 2+ years experience in one the following fields: Computer Science, Business, Management Required or
  • a related discipline Required
  • Experience using multiple software applications to reinforce learning or course development Required
  • Willingness to learn and apply adult education principles
  • Knowledge and/or experience in project management processes
  • Knowledge of the software/product development lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PC/Apple software
  • Knowledge of workstation technologies, including multiple operating systems, LAN topologies and Internet protocols
