Job Description

Adtalem Global Education, Inc. seeks an Associate Software Engineer based from HQ in Chicago, IL to implement, maintain, performance tune, and manage the capacity of all organizational software integrations. Assist in design and implementation of software solutions to meet business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze project needs and requirements, and to understand enterprise integration solutions. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Follow coding industry standards and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability. Continuously improve code quality through code reviews and testing. Conduct thorough analysis and debugging to resolve technical issues. Perform data analysis and trend analysis using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to support business decisions. Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards for various IT teams. Create Executive IT Metrics KPI reports to enhance business efficiency and support decision-making processes. Optimize data models and perform data cleansing to improve report performance and reduce dataset size. Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft integration solutions to meet business requirements. Work with stakeholders and product teams to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications. Develop MuleSoft APIs, flows, and connectors using Anypoint Studio and Mule Runtime. Manage build and release pipelines to automate deployment processes. Document software designs, processes, and procedures. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. up to 5 days a week.

Annual Salary: $106,558 - $117,213.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 2 years of software development experience, including: 1. PowerBI, DAX, Tableau, and SAS tools for business intelligence, data analysis and visualization; 2. MuleSoft integration solutions, Anypoint Studio, Azure API Manager, and Mule Runtime; 3. RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and messaging queues; 4. Build and release pipelines creation and continuous improvement; 5. Software development lifecycle; and 6. Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.9 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
