Opportunity at a Glance


Under the supervision of Director, Canadian Recruitment (Med/Vet), the Associate Director, Recruitment-Canada will lead student recruitment activities in their determined territory for RUSM as well as our two other medical schools: American University of the Caribbean & Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. This position is responsible for recruiting, raising brand awareness, and developing and nurturing relationships with pre-med/vet student influencers and business partners. This position will execute event plan in territory to impact new international student application growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop institutional pathway partnerships & design recruitment strategy w/in territory.
  • Ensure partner school is aware of all benefits available.
  • Ongoing market research and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing groups on joint partner marketing efforts.
  • Coordinating with Recruitment team for on-ground events.
  • Responsible for the conversion of high-quality prospects to Application by partner/channel.
  • Travel regionally to meet with current and prospective partners to further develop partnerships and increase awareness of the Adtalem Medical and Vet institutions and outcomes.
  • Deliver prospect-generating presentations at with partners, including provisional offer events.
  • Develop and maintain on-ground and virtual event series to engage prospective students and support institutional prospect goals and increase brand awareness and consideration.
  • Under direct supervision, negotiates new and revised partnership agreements with organizational partners that support new student growth.
  • Educates partners on our products, brands, and student opportunities.
  • Attends key educational conferences to promote our brands, supporting partnership development.
  • Plan and attend events with partners and prospective students such as brand awareness and informational events and trade shows in the medical and veterinary industry to market programs and develop awareness and prospects.
  • Discover and investigate new channels for inquiry generation for each institution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or other directly relevant discipline.   Required
  • 5+ years Successful sales or field marketing experience. Required
  • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with customers, preferably within education.
  • Motivated, ambitious, and energetic, with a service mindset and capable of strategic, logical thought.
  • Must have a valid passport, a valid driver's license, reliable and appropriate transportation, a clear driving record and a flexible schedule as weekend travel Required
  • Computer proficiency utilizing MS Office, database proficiency Required
  • Experience in the higher education industry Preferred
  • Motivation to achieve success and meet Application goals as outlined by the Senior Director and institutional leaders.
  • Flexible and adaptable, recognized as a team player who enjoys collaboration and sharing successes.
  • Willingness to travel 50-80% of the time; demonstrated ability to work remotely as necessary.
  • Must currently reside in and eligible to work within Canada.
  • Eastern Canada location Preferred
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and as a writer.
