Job Description

Adtalem Global Education (NYSE: ATGE) is a global provider of educational services rich with opportunities for growth and offering competitive wages and benefits. The Web/UX Specialist is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, updates and development enhancements to improve website engagement on the Chamberlain University websites. In this role, you will be responsible for website content updates, optimizations, page builds, writing development tickets and QA. You will work closely with business owners in marketing, as well as cross-functionally with other institutional teams.

Supports the development and maintenance of all internet marketing activities including: 

  • Participates in sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Writes development tickets for new features, updates, bugs and enhancements.
  • Tests Drupal components, modules and web forms each development release.
  • Translates designs form Figma, ensuring they are developed and built  to specification.
  • Accountable for content updates and maintenance of Chamberlain websites. 
  • Builds webpages and updates web content using Drupal Lightning Builder.
  • Identifies and implements website optimization opportunities to improve usability, ADA compliance and visibility leveraging third-party tools.
  • Collaborates with vendors and agency partners to execute projects in a timely manner
  • Partners with IT and development teams on QA and UAT test plans and documentation to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Interfaces directly with the marketing team stakeholders to support digital marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Stays current with digital marketing, technology, web trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in digital marketing.
  • This team member should have a deep understanding of best practices for enterprise CMS platform development, including experience with ticket writing and QA for enterprise CMS development.
  • Proficiency in authoring in enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., AEM, Sitecore, Drupal) and UX/design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Photoshop), including translation of Figma/Sketch/Photoshop designs into live pages within a CMS platform.  
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading regular prioritization and best practice discussions with cross-functional internal teams as well as technical team members.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms (Asana, Jira, Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to removing blockers.
  • Attention to detail, predict and solve project risks and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HTML and CSS. 
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
  • Ability and experience adapting to changing priorities based on organizational needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199.33 and $88,841.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
