Opportunity at a Glance
The Manager Talent Solutions ("Manager") plays a critically important part in the Adtalem Global Education ("Adtalem") strategy to be the leading provider of professional talent to healthcare and other organizations. The Manager leads and develops a team of Talent Solutions Consultants who develop and expand partnerships with organizations and implement on a local and regional level national programs and strategies. The Manager motivates the team and ensures that the team achieve goals as well as complies with all regulations, policies and procedures. The dynamic leader provides ongoing coaching and training, and participates in hiring of new team members.
This role will cover the northeast territory including Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of a healthcare development strategy in coordination with the Director Strategic Workforce Solutions. Identifies and executes ways to grow and expand activities in order to increase new opportunities and exceed goals.
- Assist in the management of the organization and institutional staff to achieve program growth objectives.
- Responsible for the overall performance of the team.
- Develops and implements short-term and long-term strategic plans to achieve desired new business development, consistent with the mission, vision and values of Adtalem.
- Develops an annual business development plan. Supports team members in development of highly impactful territory and account plans.
- Ensures that development objectives, goals, plans and actions produce the desired results consistent with the strategic plan.
- Works with the Director Strategic Workforce Solution, Marketing and other functions to accelerate growth and develop new approaches.
- Regularly visits partners and coordinates staffing for job and education fairs as well as community events.
- Provides reports that track team activity and trends in local and /or regional markets; implements mitigation plans as needed.
- Networks and establishes relationships with key local and/or regional healthcare and educational leaders to facilitate market growth.
- Ensures that all operations are in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations along with the policies and procedures of the organization and institutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree required and MBA preferred
- 5 years experience in a sales leader or new business development management position required
- Previous experience successfully managing multiple locations and/or regional sales territories required
- Excellent leadership capabilities to motivate, train and develop staff.
- Competent administrator and self-starter with the ability to work under little supervision.
- Team player, willing to share and exchange.
- High integrity and strong business acumen.
- Strong leadership/management skills as well as strong decision-making capability.
- Strong analytical skills – must be able to identify overarching issues that should be addressed in order to enable procedures to be improved.
- Strong personal presence and communications, consultative and training skills – must be able to work with people of various backgrounds and at various levels, to provide clear instructions and feedback, and to develop and maintain effective materials. Ability to develop C-suite relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills – must be able to work at a fast pace on many different types of projects, seeing each to completion accurately and successfully; must be able to develop and implement the appropriate solutions for a variety of situations and projects.
- Extensive travel is required (up to 80%).
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $68,637.22 and $124,230.14. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
