Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Manager of Learning and Development is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees at Adtalem Global Education. This role focuses on fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring that training programs align with the organization's goals and meet the evolving needs of the business and its workforce

Responsibilities

  • Develop Learning Strategies: Create and implement a comprehensive learning strategy tailored to build the skills / capabilities specific employee populations need to deliver business growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify Training Needs: Collaborate with institutions, department heads and institution training managers to identify training needs and design effective training solutions.
  • Deliver Training Programs: Facilitate workshops, deliver training sessions (both in-person and online), and manage training logistics.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
  • Manage Learning & Development Initiatives and Project Team Members: Lead and develop a high-performing Learning & Development team of project professionals.
  • Use Digital Tools: Utilize digital learning tools and technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance training delivery.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in a related field is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience leading Learning & Development teams, or 3+ years in a management consulting or professional services environment

  • Proven ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and lead projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Hands-on experience with digital learning platforms and tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess learning needs and use data to measure impact

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80,337.00 and $145,077.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
