Job Description

Reporting through academics, this position is responsible for leading and supporting the academic operations at the location level.  The Senior Manager will provide direct oversight of location academic process to promote academic and NCLEX success while connecting the location teams to national academic and non-academic support resources. This position is the primary liaison for location academic leaders. Additionally, this position holds collective accountability for the academic performance and success of the locations they serve.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate academic and non-academic support through a holistic collective accountability approach for all responsible locations.
  • Develop and manage success plans based on support needs at responsible locations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to location academic leaders.
  • Conduct and support or training sessions as needed.
  • Provide orientation and training to new academic leaders.
  • Identify and lead large scale academic quality process improvement efforts and process changes across all responsible locations.
  • Maintain expertise in regulatory and compliance trends that impact academic quality and make recommendations for change.
  • Provide guidance to support new academic leaders in the development of their faculty and academic support colleagues.
  • Ensure that all communications related to academic quality are accurate and timely.
  • Oversee academic training that is delivered to colleagues to maintain consistency, compliance, and to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Develop continuous improvement plans related to training and systems for academic colleagues.
  • Liaise with responsible location leadership to assure alignment and accountability of location success plans to drive positive outcomes.
  • Analyze, interpret, and provide recommendations based on data to drive academic quality and decision-making processes at campus/remote levels.
  • Analyze relevant student academic data to identify academic success factors. 
  • Demonstrate TEACH and Chamberlain Care behaviors and accountability in meeting standards of service excellence to students, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards. 

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing required, Doctorate preferred.
  • Active, unencumbered nursing licensure. 
  • 5 years of experience in higher education, including project management responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to higher education including Title IV, academic policies, auditing procedures.
  • Ability to influence peers, superiors and indirect reports in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Ability to lead change.
  • Communication skills, aptitude for working in multiple software systems
  • Up to 10% travel.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $77,996.84 and $140,851.54. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
