Opportunity at a Glance: Adtalem Global Education Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Investor Relations to serve as the primary point of contact for the global investor community. Create a targeted and proactive approach to expand coverage from both buy and sell side analysts. Perform a comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation. Strategize and prepare quarterly earnings release, webcast, scripts for CEO and CFO, slides, and FAQs. Provide IR support on the production of annual reports, proxy statements, and Annual Meeting of Shareholders, including the CEO letter to shareholders. Develop and maintain a long-term strategically aligned investment thesis focused on creating value-driving messages among the investor community. Develop and maintain a strategic investor relations plan focused on a higher level of engagement with both current and potential investors, as well as optimizing management’s time spent on investor relations activities. Establish the optimum type and mix of shareholders and create that mix through a variety of targeting initiatives. Create presentations, scripts, press releases, talking points, Q&A, and other communication materials for industry events, road shows, M&A activity, meetings, and presentations to analysts and investors and provide feedback and post event analysis. Provide Regulation Fair Disclosure training to all company spokespersons. Develop investor presentations for senior management for the financial community. Monitor research reports on the company and the industry and provide analytical summaries for senior management and the Board. Cultivate and maintain relationships with and act as a key point of contact for the investor community. Serve as a member of the Disclosure Committee, providing analysis and recommendations to improve disclosures and related processes. Integrate the company’s ESG narrative with the IR strategy and expand outreach for ESG focused investors. Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States and internationally up to 25% of the time. PERM salary range: $143,728-$241,871
Master's degree in Business, Finance or a related field and 3 years of investor relations experience. 3 years of experience must include 3 years with each of the following: (1) investor-facing roles at a public company; (2) finance as it relates to investor relations strategy; (3) education and healthcare sector finance experience, including understanding of their business models; (4) quarterly earnings materials, financial statements, key metrics, and valuation techniques in the education industry; (5) developing and implementing investor targeting strategy; and (6) developing investor days for public companies.
