Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance
This role is on the Central Financial Planning & Analysis team and reports directly to the Manager of Central FP&A. The individual will provide financial and strategic analysis, reporting, forecasting, planning and a variety of ad-hoc work in support of the CFO and other Adtalem senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Drives the monthly, quarterly, and annual roll-up process to report financial performance to CFO, other senior leaders and the Board of Directors.
- Supports the compilation of quarterly Board of Director meeting materials for the CFO
- Performs ad-hoc financial analysis, modeling to find financial and operating performance
- Develops and drives application of key performance measures to enhance performance improvement.
- Supports a variety of corporate overhead business units with financial needs such as, annual budget, forecast, reporting, financial systems training and other ad-hoc items
- Supports a variety of corporate overhead business units with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting financial systems training and other ad-hoc items
- Provides financial systems training and other ad-hoc support on recurring and ad-hoc basis
- Completes other ad-hoc projects and analysis to support CFO and other senior leaders
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required or related field such as FP&A or Accounting required
- 3 years progressive experience with financial analysis or corporate finance required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with developing complex financial models.
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting, three financial statements, financial systems (e.g., IBM Planning Analytics, Lawson ERP, Longview) and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated project management, marketing research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively organize information, manage tasks, analyze data and communicate results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing and presenting complex topics to senior management.
- Ability to self-start, multi-task, be resourceful, work in a fast-paced, fluid environment, and drives initiatives forward through influence/persuasion
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and data querying skills (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, SAP, DataWarehouse etc.,)
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $59,923.09 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
