We’re building a pipeline of passionate educators for future faculty openings in Pathology. If you’re committed to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, we invite you to express interest in this ongoing opportunity. Our academic calendar runs year-round, with new student cohorts admitted each semester. Faculty play a central role in delivering dynamic education and mentoring, with opportunities to engage in medical education research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging course materials and lectures in Pathology.
  • Administer, grade, and report on examinations.
  • Train to become a facilitator in our problem-based learning program.
  • Supervise students in both simulated and real clinical settings.
  • Develop instructional plans and update materials to reflect current developments in Pathology.
  • Advise students academically and refer them to appropriate support services.
  • Innovate teaching techniques and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate in professional development to enhance subject matter expertise.
  • Serve on faculty committees and collaborate with advisory groups.
  • Evaluate student progress through exams and assessments.
  • Support departmental initiatives and perform duties as assigned.
  • Comply with institutional policies and standards.

Qualifications

We’re looking for passionate educators who bring both clinical expertise and a commitment to innovative teaching. Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pathology
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Collaborative mindset and flexibility to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong desire for continuous self-improvement and professional growth
  • Prior teaching experience at a North American or UK medical school preferred
  • Solid understanding of medical education principles, methods, and tools
  • Documented teaching effectiveness is a plus
  • Comfort with educational technologies, including LMS platforms, audience response systems, online exams, and videoconferencing tools
  • Experience with active learning strategies and mobile teaching tools (e.g., iPads, iBooks) preferred
  • Ability to engage in ongoing faculty development in medical education
  • Interest or experience in medical education research and presenting findings is desirable
