Opportunity at a Glance

Quick Overview: You're our social media storyteller and content creator, developing engaging content that builds community, elevates brand awareness, and advances Adtalem's business story across our social channels with key audiences including current and prospective employees, health systems, business partners, and policy influencers. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy, this role combines content creation expertise with social media strategy, focusing on building authentic engagement and growing our digital audience while positioning Adtalem as the healthcare education leader. Perfect for someone who understands how to create compelling content that resonates with diverse stakeholder groups and drives brand perception.

What You'll Do: Lead social media and content initiatives to build brand awareness, engage key stakeholders, and advance Adtalem's business narrative through compelling social content and community management. You'll create and curate content, manage social media channels, and build authentic relationships with digital audiences that enhance reputation and drive stakeholder confidence, working collaboratively with your manager and peers to create integrated content experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute social media strategy and tactical optimization across corporate channels
  • Create engaging social content that aligns with brand voice and advances Adtalem's business story and market positioning
  • Manage social media community engagement to build authentic relationships with stakeholders and enhance brand reputation
  • Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis, providing regular reports on brand perception and stakeholder engagement to inform broader Corporate Affairs strategy
  • Manage comprehensive content calendar across digital channels, ensuring consistent brand voice and coordinated messaging with Corporate Affairs initiatives
  • Participate in regular digital strategy alignment meetings with Senior Manager and peer manager to ensure coordinated execution and consistent messaging
  • Connect digital content initiatives with Corporate Affairs priorities, identifying opportunities to amplify organizational messages and strategic communications
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to amplify company announcements and initiatives that drive brand awareness
  • Support executive social media presence with content that positions leadership as industry authorities with key stakeholder groups, in coordination with CEO and Executive Communications
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to maintain Adtalem's competitive edge in brand building and reputation management
  • Analyze social media performance metrics focused on brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, and business story impact
  • Support crisis communications through social media monitoring and response coordination that protects brand reputation as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required 
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of successful social media growth and engagement
  • Content calendar management and brand voice consistency expertise across multiple digital platforms
  • Social listening and sentiment analysis capabilities with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with social media analytics and performance measurement
  • Background in higher education, healthcare, or B2B industries preferred
  • Understanding of social media advertising and organic content strategy

Skills:

  • Strong content creation skills with ability to develop engaging social media content across platforms
  • Understanding of social media best practices, platform algorithms, and emerging trends
  • Excellent community management skills with ability to build authentic audience relationships
  • Creative thinking with ability to adapt brand messaging for different social media platforms
  • Analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
  • Collaborative approach with ability to support cross-functional communications initiatives

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70696.34 and $127957.05. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
