The Director, Product Management oversees the strategy, planning and execution to successfully develop and deliver innovative digital products and solutions for Adtalem’s portfolio of institutions. These products and solutions will span marketing and enrollment enablement. Working closely with marketing leadership, institutional representatives and technology partners, this position leads the identification and execution of key product initiatives that support business imperatives and provide tangible solutions that positively impact Adtalem’s performance. Using customer feedback, market data, and industry trends, this position will anticipate market, business, and technology changes, and drive decisions on how to leverage these changes.
- Develops and leads the digital experience roadmap for the student enrollment journey across all Adtalem institutions, building consensus and alignment with key stakeholders on the long-term plans for the experience.
- Engages with CMO and Marketing leadership team to align on student enrollment priorities, rationale, and business objectives.
- Works closely with institutional leaders and other Adtalem business representatives, to identify, drive, and coordinate the conceptualization, design, and development of digital product solutions and experiences to drive and improve enrollment outcomes and performance.
- Champions a customer-centric approach to product and services definition and development.
- Provides product leadership and collaborates with the Technology organization within an Agile environment to deliver quality products.
- Devises metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of experiences and holds the accountability for improving said metrics.
- Leads and drives accountability with the assigned IT team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule, on budget, and on target. Anticipates product issues and adjusts proactively.
- Directs the work of external business partners and an internal product management team on issues impacting the development and delivery of the product.
- Assists with stage-gate reviews of digital product initiatives to evaluate merits and drive funding decisions.
- Assists the Vice President, Portfolio Strategy and Student Experience in the preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts.

- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of digital product experience, including 5-7years of product management experience (with responsibilities from development through launch) and 3-5years of experience as a manager or director with direct reports.
- Significant experience in leading product strategy and roadmap development.
- Experience working in the Marketing and Lead Generation highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing highly preferred.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to distill complex project plans into senior level presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical and business backgrounds.
- Proven track record of conceiving, developing, and deploying original ideas and/or initiatives.
- Ability and willingness to roll up the sleeves and get things done.
- Strong project management Skills.
- Experience with Scaled Agile preferred.
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,253 and $175,761. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
