Job Description

As a Digital Product Manager (DPM), you will be responsible for the planning and execution of innovative digital products and solutions for Adtalem’s portfolio of institutions. Working closely with institutional representatives and IT delivery owners, this position supports the identification and execution of key product features that enable business imperatives and provide tangible solutions that positively impact Adtalem’s performance. Using customer feedback, market data, and industry trends, this position will help evaluate market, business, and technology changes, and support decisions on how to leverage these changes.

  • Leads the implementation of the digital product roadmap for one or more assigned areas of responsibility including the student and colleague journeys.
  • Works closely with institutional business stakeholders and SMEs to identify, drive, and coordinate the conceptualization, design, and development of digital product solutions to improve business performance.
  • Champions a customer-centric approach to product and services definition and development.
  • Collaborates with IT professionals within an Agile environment to deliver quality products under aggressive schedules.
  • Identifies metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of experiences.
  • Partners with the assigned ATGE IT team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule, on budget, and on target.  Anticipates product issues and adjusts proactively.
  • Helps directs the work of external business partners on issues impacting the development and delivery of the product.
  • Assists with stage-gate reviews of digital product initiatives to evaluate merits and drive funding decisions.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

 - Bachelor’s degree required.
 - 5+ years of digital product experience, including 3+ years of product management experience (with responsibilities from development through launch).
 - Experience in leading product strategy and roadmap development. 
 - Excellent communication skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.
 - Proven track record of conceiving, developing, and deploying original ideas and/or initiatives.
 - Ability and willingness to roll up the sleeves and get things done.
 - Strong project management skills.
 


Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $68,637 and $124,230. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
