Job Description

We’re looking for a Business Process Expert who thrives on transforming manual, outdated workflows into streamlined, automated solutions. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that simplify operations, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery—while maintaining the high standards that define Chamberlain.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Process Improvement Initiatives
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, analyze, and document business processes, project data, surveys, and information exchange requirements. Assess post-project benefits to measure success and identify next steps.

  • Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement
    Lead briefings and progress updates, define success measures, and generate ideas for future projects. Build and maintain relationships across the enterprise to stay informed on initiatives and ensure alignment.

  • Analyze and Optimize Systems
    Conduct business systems analysis and needs assessments to identify opportunities for process improvement. Recommend system configurations and manage development efforts as needed.

  • Coordinate Testing and Implementation
    Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for departmental functions, communicate results, and address any issues or risks. Ensure smooth transitions during system or process go-lives.

  • Ensure Policy Alignment and Data Integrity
    Review University policies and procedures to remove impediments and enhance benefits. Validate the quality of data and conclusions drawn from process changes.

  • Manage Projects and Change
    Lead multiple assignments simultaneously, maintain project documentation, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery. Drive change management efforts to maximize adoption and long-term success.

  • Champion Continuous Improvement
    Develop deep knowledge of enterprise applications and technologies. Use data performance trends and best practices to identify and implement ongoing improvements.

  • Maintain Documentation and Compliance
    Archive project documentation, test results, and relevant materials according to business standards. Ensure compliance with all University policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required to bring a strong academic foundation to this role.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in change management, project management, and process improvement & implementation—you’ve led initiatives, navigated complexity, and delivered results.
  • Specialized Skills: You bring expertise in facilitation, process mapping, and policy creation, with a knack for turning ideas into actionable plans.
  • Independent Judgment: You’re confident making sound decisions with minimal supervision, and you know when to take initiative.
  • Organizational Excellence: You manage multiple tasks and projects with precision, keeping priorities clear and timelines on track.
  • Strategic Focus: You’ve demonstrated success in setting and achieving business outcomes through thoughtful prioritization.
  • Collaborative Mindset: You know how to build strong, effective relationships with institutional partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Strength: Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, and your attention to detail ensures nothing slips through the cracks.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $111,584.97. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
