Opportunity at a Glance
The Business Process Analyst will work in collaboration with Project Managers, functional groups, stakeholders, and technical staff will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data and information for project support. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, their role will involve forging strong partnerships with business stakeholders to drive process improvement delivery through exemplary process design, improvement, and management skills, utilizing proven best practice techniques and methodologies.
In addition to providing support to 23 campuses, the BPA’s responsibility will be to work towards standardizing practices and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all locations. You will analyze processes and develop a comprehensive plan to ensure adherence to new policies, with a primary focus on promoting student persistence. The ultimate objective is to enhance overall process efficiency, enabling consistent evaluation and quality improvement.
In order to fulfill the requirements of this role effectively, the Business Process Analyst will be expected to be present onsite for three days per week. This on-site presence is essential for seamless collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and the various campus locations. Additionally, occasional travel may be necessary for site visits, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of operations and facilitating the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Works with a variety of project teams during various stages of the project to define, analyze, document and publish project data, surveys, business processes, and information exchange requirements.
- Build relationships across the enterprise, and understand at a high level what initiatives are moving forward in other areas of Adtalem Education Group.
- Conducts business systems process analysis and needs assessments in an effort to identify business process improvements.
- Identifies and works with the appropriate Subject Matter Experts to understand and produce business/project data.
- Coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of respective department functions.
- Communicates with project teams after UAT execution to inform them of results, including any issues, problems or risks with the process or application.
- Manages multiple assignments according to documented plans, monitors, and reports progress to ensure that required work is delivered on time.
- Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth "go live" when new systems or processes are moved into production.
- Develops and maintains a solid knowledge of the federal, state and institutional policies and business processes. Displays willingness to share such knowledge with other stakeholders.
- Archives project documentation, test results and any relevant information according to business standards and processes.
- Work with projects that include a significant strategic delivery to deliver successful results.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Required or other related equivalent work experience Required
- Business operations experience/background Preferred
- 1 experience modeling/designing business processes and/or analyzing data to support business decisions/hypotheses. Required and
- Experience with IT systems analysis/design Preferred
- Demonstrated success establishing clear priorities to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills; must be able to manage tasks and projects with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.
- Software skills required (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook).
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $51,962.03 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
