Job Description

Chamberlain College of Nursing is looking to fill an outstanding career opportunity at our campus in Las Vegas, as an Administrative Coordinator. This position performs a variety of general office activities with a basic understanding of departmental procedures. If you believe that you are up to the challenge of this important position and seek a tremendously rewarding career with a global leader in higher education, we want to talk with you today.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in area of typing correspondence, memos and reports.
  • Review clerical and personnel records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Prepare activities reports for guidance of management.
  • Research and develop resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
  • Maximize office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
  • Identify administrative needs and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Answer inquiries, use discretion handling difficult calls and route calls to appropriate individual.
  • Compile and type statistical reports.
  • Maintain calendar(s) for the supervisor and/or department.
  • Maintain contact with customers and outside vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required.
  • Three (3) years previous experience required.
  • Solid typing and PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications, and database management software.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a deadline-driven, fast paced setting as part of a high-performing team.
  • Well-developed administrative and organizational skills and are willing to follow detailed processes consistently.
  • An impeccable work ethic and self-accountability to hold the highest ethical standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to craft and deliver well-written, compelling messages to our students and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and self-motivated while working toward personal and team goals.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $16.65 and $27.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
