Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Terminal degree required: MD, DO, EdD, PhD, or Masters in Education with substantial experience in medical student academic support
• Experience working with adult learners in STEM; medical education experience preferred
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in both large and small group formats
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment
• Understanding of educational theory, learning psychology, and principles of medical education
• Proficiency in computer software programs (MS Office) and educational technology, including e-learning management systems and online examinations
• Experience in mentoring, academic coaching, or student affairs preferred
• Knowledge of USMLE Step 1 exam preparation and experience with online learning development desirable
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in medical education
• Understanding of the educational needs of students with disabilities

Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and collaborative skills, with the ability to contribute to a dynamic team environment. Experience with diverse student populations, including English as a Second Language learners, is advantageous.
